IDEA EXPLAINED

This is an outline of the creative process for the Desert X project. This was a 3 Month initiative that I produced and directed - The goal was to come alongside the vision of Desert X organization and promote artists through the beauty of the desert. There were 7 main locations throughout the Palm Springs area that I wanted to highlight.

As you’ll see while scrolling through the “creative process” below that these locations were unique in that they capture the modern and minimalist aesthetic the desert seems to portray. 

Any production generally breaks up into three categories: Pre Production, Production, and Post Production. In the preproduction phase, I started with the concepts, mood board, and color palette that would guide the overall project and decisions to be made with locations, models, storyboard, and editing style. Coming to the end of the page you’ll find all the fun production content behind how I filmed, the before and after color grading process as well as deliverables of the photos and videos.
